image author: DJH Worpswede
At the lovely artist village Worpswede countryside and art are connected in a very unique way. Artists
like Otto Modersohn, Paula Becker-Modersohn, Mackensen and Heinrich Vogeler made this picturesque village more than 100 years ago famous.
Nature lover are drawn to the countryside, the moors and Hamme lowland.
The youth hostel is situated at the village exit of the old artist village Worpswede in direction Osterholz-Scharmbeck, at the foot of the
Weyherberg.
The house has over 164 beds (4-6-bed rooms), six double rooms and 5 1-bed leader rooms.
5 day rooms (20-60 persons), of those three are suitable for seminars. TV, video, film and overhead projector, screen and blackboard are available.
The youth hostel offers different options for leisure activity. You can choose between table tennis, billiard and table football.
Our bistro with its little beverage menu is open from 7pm onwards; there is also some background music.
We also organise once a week a disco evening for dancing. For group animation there is a deco box for decoration the day room as well as a juggler's box against payment available.
Outside there are two table tennis table tops and a streetball basket available that can be used in any weather. The youth hostel is most suitable for ....
