Ritterhude is situated around 10km north of the Hanse and port city of Bremen (city centre) in direction Bremerhaven (46km) - Cuxhaven (83km)
Road:
Regional road connections via B 74 and L 135 (former B 6). Near to A 27, Exits Bremen-Industriehäfen, Burg-Lesum and Ihlpohl
Bus:
Between the Bremer Main Railway Station - Ritterhude - Osterholz-Scharmbeck and Vollersode-Giehlermühlen run the busses 680 and 665.
There are several stops for these busses at the city centre of Old-Ritterhude.
Rail:
In Ritterhude the regional trains (RB), that travel the distance Bremen Main Train Station - Bremerhaven-Lehe stop among other stations in Bremen-Burg, Ritterhude and Osterholz-Scharmbeck. With the exception of a break during the night the RB run hourly in both directions. The travelling time from the Bremer Main Train Station to Ritterhude is ca 15 minutes. A bicycle can be taken on board.
