Above the City Park
at the Lindenstraße you reach
the town's high towering distinctive mark, the former water tower, which serves today as look-out.
It was built in the year 1935 within only four months.
The tower is open every year from ca mid-May to October in good weather on Sundays and public holidays from 3pm to 6pm.
On clear days one has a
lovely view over the
Hamme lowland towards
Worpswede and Bremen.
