The mill at the harbour in the town Osterholz-Scharmbeck
image author: city-map Osterholz The windmill at the harbour was originally meant for the Teufelsmoor farmers who ferried their grain to here by ship. The sails had turned since 1769 until the mill was partly destroyed by lightning in 1946.
The sails were not remounted when the mill was rebuilt. But the interior was done with loving care:
tables and chairs in the original style; many pieces that would make a museum proud...
An attraction that is typical for the town and district.
