of the community Grasberg:
The community Grasberg has been newly founded in March 1974 from the communities Adolphsdorf, Dannenberg, Grasberg, Huxfeld, Otterstein, Rautendorf, Schmalenbeck, Seehausen, Tüschendorf and the village Grasdorf of the community Heidberg. It was extended in the year 1976 resp. 1983 with village Wilstedtermoor of the community Wilstedt and Tarmstedtermoor of the community Tarmstedt.
Grasberg with its charming countryside is ideal as nearby recreation area for the population of Bremen. Well established restaurants are starting points for many walks and bicycle tours into the surrounding area.
The Grasberg church has always been centre point since its founding in 1789. The church is well known beyond its borders because of the rare Arp-Schnitger-Organ.
